Question: Have you heard of Fatty tissue under the armpit!?
2 years ago I found a lump underneath my armpit, I went to the doctor, got a sonogram and he says it was just fatty tissue not cancer and it can be remove!. I didn't remove it but now its bothering me, its painful!. Have you ever heard of it and do you think its cancer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, fatty tissue is normal in the armpit, but there are other possibilities!. There are special skin sweat glands which under in the areas of the armpit and groin; these glands could sometime get blocked and lead to an enlarging, sometimes sore cyst that can be successfully treated!. Rarely, a tiny lump can be a small amount of normal breast tissue that gets there before you are born!. It could also be a swollen lymph gland (lymph node)!. Let your Doctor check if you are truly worried!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My guess is that if the doc says it isn't cancer, then it isn't cancer!. But if you're really worried, get a second opinion!. But by second opinion, I'm not talking about Yahoo!, get a medical, professional opinion!.

I agree that if its bothering you, you should go to have it checked again!. However, there can be fatty tissue anywhere in the body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
