i just put cream on the area that itches and it still wont go away!!

I had this problem this past winter, they took me off Celebrex and had me start using anti-bacterial liquid soap to bathe or shower!. This made a large significant change!. My dermatologist recommended a cream by Avon Products, it is an overnight cream or an 8 hour cream & it is designed for your feet, but he said, I could use it practically anywhere, except the genital area!. It was the only thing that has worked!. I tried the Gold Bond Cream and it set me on fire, my skin blistered and turned red, I had to use Dawn liquid to get it off my skin, then had to make that heal!. I was taking Benadryl Rx strength to get rid of the reaction from the Gold Bond!.
Take a couple of OTC Benadryls, it helps get rid of the itchies!. My doctor prescribed Hydroxine to get rid of the itchies!.

My skin did this in the winter really bad and I did the same thing, put anti-itch cream on it!. But it wasn't working!. Then I did some looking around and found a blog site that suggested using the Gold Bond Medicated Lotion and putting it on the itchy area!. ( the green bottle) It worked really well!! after a couple of applications on the area I was itch free!!! and if the itch came back I just put the lotion on and it was fine! If the problem persists after using the lotion for more that a couple of days I would go and see a doctor!. Good luck to you! and your itchy skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't believe anyone here can help you!. Even if you were lucky enough to have a dermatologist answer your question on y/a chances are they'd still wanna take a look at it before they could recommend anything!. Try not to scratch it the itch may spread!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
