Question: Which respiratory problem does this sound like!?
I have had a sever productive cough since September 2007!. I cannot eat without having a "phlem"-fest!. If my throat gets either cold or hot, I'm suffering!. I cannot even go outside!. If I even get 5 feet from the front door, I feel a "spell" coming on!. Any change in my internal temperature sends me into distress!.
My physical therapist ( for my arm) put a hot wrap on my arm, I went into coughing distress!.
I cannot go to sleep unless I'm completely coughed out!. I have 4 or 5 giant phlem attacks per day!.!.!. everyday!.

Could be a number of things, heavy congestion in your chest, infection, COPD !. !. !. hard to tell!.
For the congestion, I would recommend a hot shower, steam is great for breaking up fluids in the chest and nasal cavaties!.

This condition is rife in England at the moment, the doctors call it a nova-virus, whatever that is (im sure they make these conditions names up as they go along) apparently, something like a cold, only lasting longer!.Drink your vitamin c drinks, it should ease off soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
