Question: Is it normal for my hearing to be muffled when my ears are infected!?
I've never had an ear infection before so I don't know what to expect!. My ears feel as though they're very muffled!. Is this normal!?
Also!. Whenever I swallow, or chew, or even yawn or open my mouth wide enough, my ears will pop or make a crackle noise!. Is this normal, too!?
I really need some closure here because this is the first time I've ever had an ear infection and neither of my parents have had one so they can't tell me what's normal and what's not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes this is normal and can last for a few days or weeks!. Depends on what medications you are taking and how bad the infection is!. Please if you haven't been to a doctor for this go as soon as possible!. Your hearing is nothing to play around with and can cause much more trouble if not taken care of!. Also you may notice you are off balance some when walking around or may cause dizziness as well, getting sick to you tummy, This infection can cause many things!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
