Answers:
No, they are two different viruses!. But they both are STD's!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No relation other than they are both sexually transmitted diseases!.

HPV - Human Papilloma Virus - causes genital warts!. It can also cause minor, often undetectable, infections that were recently linked to causing precancerous cells that can lead to cervical cancer!.

HIV - Human Immunodeficiency Virus - attacks the immune system and is the virus that causes AIDS!. The virus destroys the CD4 T cells, an important part of the immune system!. By destroying these cells, the immune system is unable to protect against diseases and infection which eventually leads to death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

HPV = Human Paploma Virus
HIV = Human Immunodeficiency Virus

They are completely unrelated to one another, but I would not specifically say that they have "nothing to do with each other"!. Read on!.!.!. Zack -- it rarely causes cancer in males!. In females, several strains (see cite, below) are linked with cervical cancer!.

There is a tangential relationship between HPV and HIV!. If you have HPV, you are far more likely to become infected by HIV should you have intimate contact with an HIV carrier!. The reason is that HPV causes microscopic lesions on the skin in your genetal area, giving HIV a far greater chance of getting into your bloodstream even through more!.!.!. casual contact!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

LOL no!.
HPV causes warts and in rare cases cancer!. HIV is a virus that directly attacks your immune system!. Too completely different strands and are completely unrelated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Both HPV and HIV are viruses!. Both are STDs!. There is no cure for viral STDs!.
HPV causes genital warts!. In women, HPV can invade the vagina and cervix!. These warts are flat and not easily visible without special procedures!. Because HPV can lead to cancerous and precancerous changes in the cervix, it is important that this condition be diagnosed and treated!. Regular pap smears are necessary to detect HPV or other abnormal changes related to this virus!. Having both HPV and herpes virus together puts you at particular risk for cervical cancer!.
A new vaccine called Gardasil prevents infection against four of the HPV strains responsible for the majority of genital warts and cervical cancer in women!. The vaccine is given as a series of three shots!. It is for use in females only!.
HPV will not become into HIVWww@Answer-Health@Com
