i have a lump on the back of my head !.!. on the bottom right side!.
its really hard and it dont hurt to touch!.
it just popped up like a week and a half ago!.
what do you think it is !?

Sorry but I have to clarify !. !. !. Cris you are incorrect!. When nodes are "soft" and "rubbery" that would generally indicate normal swelling of nodes due to cold, infection, etc!. When dealing with Lymphoma the nodes are generally going to be hard, fixed (not easily moved with pressure), and painless!. They are also usually 2cm or larger!. ( I am a Lymphoma Survivor who presented with nodes in my neck)
When you say it's on the back of your head do you mean actually up on your scalp or down on your neck!? If you're talking your scalp you are likely just feeling a cyst which are generally harmless, I've had one myself for years on the top of my head and as long as it doesn't suddenly get larger you should be OK!. Of course it's always a good idea to get a Dr's opinion!. If you did mean your neck, being that you said it is hard and painless, I would definitely get it checked!. It is of course unlikely that you have Lymphoma, but better safe than sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I sounds more like a cyst!. Cancer in the nodes (lymphoma), the nodes are usually soft, but rubbery, and palpable, and they don't just pop up, unless you have some kind of infection, virus, or bacteria that the node is trying to fight!. But do go to a doctor and have it looked at!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont think so!. are you having night sweats!? are you itchy!? it could be a cyst!. my mother has a cyst onthe back of her head and its really hard and does not hurt!. you should make a doc!. appointment though just to make sureWww@Answer-Health@Com
