Hi,

If your mum wished, you could go to the Gp with her and talk things through!. Your mum is receiving the best care-the GP has recognised a problem & is investigating it thoroughly!.
Aneamia is a low red blood cell level (often referred to as HB or Haemaglobin levels)!. Haemaglobin is an iron rich substance which carries oxygen around the body!. symptoms of anaemia are fatigue and shortness of breath!.
it is a worrying time, waiting for tests, results & answers - hopefully your minds will soon be at ease again!.

Offer to go to the hospital appointments with your mum - she is in good hands both with her GP & with a caring family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh hunnie she'll be ok, im aenemic (Hahaa i cant spell either lol) It means that she doesnt have enough white blood cells doesnt it!. Well i began being aenemic (once again i cant spell) because i had aloud of 6 foot people (about 5 people) fall on me and it was internally bleeding as well, its been about 1 month and 2 weeks now and i getting better, its still really brused!.

Tell her to go to the GP, they have loads of contacts that can help find out where it is, i hope shes gets better <3Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it could be anything so your GP is referring her presumably to a specialist for diagnostic tests!.
Has she got any abdominal discomfort!? Indigestion after eating!? It could be something like a stomach ulcer which needs treatment!.

Do you know what kind of specialist she is being referred to i!.e gastroenterologist, haematologist, general surgeon or colerectal surgeon!? This can give you some clues about whats being investigated, sadly her GP can't tell you anything without her permission and unless you can encourage her to be strong and find out what is wrong and phone her GP herself!. He can also reassure her and explain things in lay terms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Encourage her to go to her scheduled appointments!.!.!.it could be that she just needs to take iron supplements, especially if her diet lacks the proper nutrition, which is often the case with the elderly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anemia is something that can be corrected easily (if she is not bleeding internally) A cup of red wine nightly before going to bed is what my doctor recommended or iron injections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
