Question: Are you at a higher risk of Type II diabetes if!.!.!.!?
!.!.!.you are young, a sugar addict, but you are still quite slender (due to high metabolism and moderate caloric intake)!. Basically my sugar/starch intake far exceeds the recommended fraction of my diet!. I have celiac disease so I can't eat gluten (in wheat, barley, and rye), so my grains are primarily rice and corn (both rather starchy)!. There are healthier grains that are safe but they are too expensive for my college budget!. Most gluten free mainstream food are heavy on the sugar and starch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The main risk factors for type II diabetes are weight, abdominal obesity (beer gut) and dislipidemia (high cholesterol, triglyceride's in the blood)!. You also have to have a genetic predisposition to get it!.
