Question: If your potential partner had an STD such as, genitle herpes, would you still be with them!?
What if they were 29 years old, and they told you that they had had it since they were 16 and have never given it to anybody, then would you be with them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
For me, it would depend on how long I was with the person before they found out that they had it!. I know that herpes is not deadly and is just basically a really annoying nuisance!. It can be treated to decrease the amount of outbreaks, but I still wouldn't want to have it!.

I wouldn't go on the other person's word that they have never given it to anyone else!. They don't know that as fact themselves!. It can remain dormant for years before you have an outbreak, so maybe their past partners didn't have an outbreak right away, who knows if they had one years later!.

If I just met the person, and they told me that they had genital herpes, first, I would appreciate that they told me upfront!. But, sadly, I wouldn't carry on an intimate relationship with them!.

I have two friends who have it, and they told potential sexual partners before they engaged in intercourse!. It wasn't always the reception that they dreamed of, but both of them are now married with children!. Only one of their spouses got it from them!. Their spouses are better people than me because I don't think that I could have continued a relationship!. It is all a personal choice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In all honesty- NO!. I wouldn't be w/ anyone w/ Herpes- HIV- anything not cureable!. I think I'm too scared for the risk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
