Migraines???!

Question: Migraines!?!?!?
I have a friend who gets really bad migraines when the weather is bad or there's a change in barometric pressure!.She's basically a human barometer!.She has seen a doctor about it,and there's nothing they can really do!.She did say something about a deviated septum, and fixing that can maybe cure her chronic migraines!.She's in constant pain pretty much!.She's had MRI's,but no CAT scan, but an MRI she says is more in-depth and accurate!.I'm really worried about her!.She can't live on like this!.They keep giving her medications to try to relieve the pain, but they're not helping much!.She's really frustrated!.I want her to feel better!.What should she do!? I hope she doesn't have a brain tumor or anything!.I guess she's goin to get a CAT scan to see if she does have a deviated septum, and if she does, they have to break her nose and re-set it,and she said something about having to file a cavity in the front of her skull down!.!?!?!?I don't know!.Any suggestuons!?!?!?Thanks!!:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is true that an MRI is a more in depth reading of all portions of the brain comparitive to a CT scan!. The birth control is a good suggestion, except I had been taking birth control for five years and within the last three started having migraines!. The doctors for three years diagnosed me with migraines!. I went to a neuroligist at UCLA, Dr!. Orfuss who confirmed that it was a migraine and just to be safe as routine get an MRI!. Well when I called to schedule he never answered; my migraine went away, and then a few months later I was asleep had a seizure at my boyfriends home, rushed to the ER a ct scan was performed found two tumors in the right frontal portion of my brain!. Then went to CSMC where an MRI was performed and three tumors found, I had surgery on two of the three and a pathology report done which indicated an increased amount of progesterone which is too early to state caused by birth control!. But its like one of those things, before they could state cigarrettes caused cancer, but after multiple tests they showed it did!. I am one of the newer cases so and sure it was the birth control and suggest DO NOT USE BIRTH CONTROL!!!!! And if she has to take advil and or a pain killer ever so often no worries!. And if she has to have surgery no worries either, technology is so advanced and the surgery she will have is non-invasive!. So relax, think good thoughts for your friend, enjoy your time with her enjoy life and know that her doctors will work wonders!. Also I know you love your friend, but don't be concerned, be happy that she is trying to cure herself to enjoy life and not sitting around depressed and feeling sorry for herself!. Actually maybe you could use her migraines as an advantage, go hiking and she will be your guide to when it will start raining!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. :) But no birth control!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Has anyone ever checked her estrogen levels!.!.!.thats the reason i got migraines and since i went on low dose continuous birth control (i don't get my period) they have gone away!.!.!.!.!.if she's too nervous about not having her period she can take something that is called the mini-pill the week of her period!. it basically regulates estrogen!.!.!.i dunno throwing it out thereWww@Answer-Health@Com
