Question: Have sore throat, feel like I have a chest cold after laproscopic gallbladder removal!?
The surgery- I'm told- went well!. I took pain meds, but have been sore all day!. The worst part is since I left the hospital, I have a sore throat and feel like I have phlem or a chest cold or something!. I try to cough it up but it hurts really bad to cough!. My voice comes and goes!. I don't really understand what one has to do with the other!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably from the breathing tube they had inserted for the surgery!. When I had my gallbladder removed they put a breathing tube, usually standard for most surgeries!. Also, the phlem problem is probably from the anethesia!. Make sure you take in deep breaths so that you won't develop pneumonia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
