Then i had a about a ten second pumping heart beat whilst standing with my friend outside a shop, and because i was awake i remembered it and it stook in my mind!. Rang nhs direct few hours later, told me to see Doc and he checked everything said i was fine, and that people get them, then about four days later i wanted a more thorough check - got ecg at A&E and said it looked normal but obv fast!. Iwasnt having one then though!. The doctor said not to worry it will make it worse but now i can't stop worrying!. I know exactly what you mean!. I panicked when I first started getting them!. Then I was getting them every day, because anxiety just makes them worse!. You should wear a monitor for 24 hours so they will show up!. Then if they do show up they will probably have you get an Echo cardiogram!. PVC's or heart palpitations are VERY common!. And there are meds that help!. I found out I have Mitral Valve Prolapse after having the Echo!.!.!. but there are things you can do to lessen the palpitations!. First!.!.!.!. relax!. Second if you smoke, quit!. If you drink caffeine, quit!. 100% If you take any type of stimulant drug like for weightloss, quit!. If you do all these things, you should notice a signifacant differance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heart palpation's can be the result of a number of different things!. However, if your cardiologist isn't concerned I wouldn't be either!. Your anxiety can make the smallest problem much larger!. I've been there and did the same thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a panic attack to me!. I suffered from them a lot last summer and now have the occassional one!. A major symptom of them is heart palpatations due to the increased adrenaline in your body!. Also the more you think about it and concentrate on it, the worse it gets!. Have a look online at panic attacks and see if this fits your symptoms!. One of my symptoms was feeling that I was about to die!. Its strange because I had never suffered anything like that before and it just appeared suddenly!. The good thing is you have been checked at hospital for serious heart problems and it was all clear - try and remember that!. It is a really common problem especially in women in their twenties!. Hope this helps!.
