Anemia and going to work?!

Question: Anemia and going to work!?
I was diagnosed with chronic anemia about 3 weeks ago!. The doctor put me out of school and work for 2 weeks!. School is out now, and I started back work last week!. I have been fine everry day up until yesterday!. I started feeling kinda bad around 4pm, but kept working!. Around 6:45pm, I got really hot, then cold, started sweating a lot, shaking, and I felt so lightheaded that I thought I was going to pass out!. I took my water and went to sit in the office, and ended up leaving 45 minutes later!. Why this out of nowhere!? I had been fine all the days before, days where I was working harder because there were more customers!. I'm just afraid this is going to happen to me again at work, and the man manager will be working and I know I won't be able to tell him!. =[Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I have always been anemic despite my efforts with iron pills and iron rich foods!. It often gets worse during pregnancy!.

My suggestion is to take iron pills, drink lots of water and juices, and makesure you eat a regular balanced diet!. Get your rest also, make sure you sleep at least 7 hours a night, make sure they are undisturbed if possible!.

Just take it easy and get back to working, slowly!.

Also if you cant tell your manager about your medical condtiotion then quit, they cannot fire you or do anything against you for your conditon, if they do you can sue them(check by state, different states have diferent labor laws)

I would tell your manager despite what you think he will do, and just make him aware of the situation, if he doesnt seem to care get ahold of his supirior and explain the situation!. I have gone to higher -up's reguarding problems and I still have my job, and I am not worried about and furutre problems iether!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anemia is not only an Iron deficiency, it can be caused from a lack of B12, folic acid, or something just as simple as heredity!. I think you should read the article on emedicine concerning anemia and the contact your physician and get tested, so you can get a handle on your situation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anemia can be a shortage of iron in your blood!. Go to your doctor and tell him of your symtoms, and see if you should be taking an iron supplement along with any certain type of diet that he/she may recommend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
