It is a chemical inbalance in your brain, it is not your fault it is not something you can 'catch' or give yourself!. It is where in your mind messages dont get to a to b they get confused and dont make there destination or keep getting sent back and forth - eg did i lock the door - person with out ocd yes, person with ocd would check and recheck because something in their brain is telling them they didnt - even though you no you did you cannot rest until you checked it again - and made sure!.
ocd shows itself in many ways - thoughts, rituals!. Amazon is a good place to get books/ info on it!. Doctors are great aswell, you can get counselling, medication from them!.
