Strange sensations falling asleep?!

Question: Strange sensations falling asleep!?
I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on a strange disturbance I've been experiencing when going to sleep!. When I first go to bed and lying there while awake after 5 or 10 mins I sometimes get a strange jolt sensation in my chest area!. It appears to last only 1-3 seconds in duration resulting at times with my head jerking up off my pillow!. Sometimes a sensation similar to apnea or anaphylactic yet I am not asleep!. In only a few seconds it has passed and I appear to be fine with normal breathing!. Some nights it happens only once or twice, some nights multiple times !. At times it happens so fast it's difficult to articulate what it was!. Once asleep I've experienced no difficulties with no recollection of ever being awoken by anything!. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas what it might be!? I'd greatly appreciate any insight!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

This happens to me a lot, and it is scary! I've went to the doctor and had many tests run because I've been sick- some of which included an echocardiogram and an ekg, and my heart is healthy!. (I'm 18!.) So it may not be something wrong with your heart!.

My doctor told me that mine is probably caused from anxiety!. She said you can have anxiety and not even realize it because you incorporate the stress youhave and the day feels normal!. She told me that the feelings in my chest at night are probably caused from being relaxed and that pent up stress being relieved!.

Hope it helps!. If not, go get a check up! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
