there are dna cells in your skin that absorb utraviolet light!. inside of these cells there are smaller structures called melanosomes that have the pigment for your skin color in them!. when you expose your skin to the sun, the pigment cells change color from the vitamins they make from the utraviolet light!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Exposure to the sun causes melanocytes in your skin tissues to increase their production of melanin to help protect the skin!. This process results in a darkening of the skin tone to form a suntan!.
