Have you had chickenpox or shingles!? Chickenpox is all over the body while shingles is more limited to one area (and one side of the body)
You can have shingles more than ones!.
In some people vaccinations just don't take - for some reason, your body doesn't respond to the vaccination by making antibodies and memory cells (which remember how to make antibodies)!. So if you are reexposed, your body doesn't have the memory cells to make the antibodies and so you get chickenpox!.
The other issue is why!? If you ahve had chickenpox three times (actual and not shingles) - then you need to have a full work up to make sure there isn't somehting else going on with your immune system that prevents it from responding!.

Usually the body does become immune after a vaccination, that is what they are designed to do after all! It may be that you have had 3 different strains of chickenpox in which case I feel for you!. Some viruses, like the common cold, change frequently and you can't get vaccinated against them for this reason!.
How often do you get an attack of chicken pox!? Usually people only get it twice, once in childhood, and then once in adulthood, when it is called shingles!. If you are at all concerned seek medical advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure you got the follow up shot, which is usually done at 4-5 years of age!.
"After you have had chickenpox, you become immune to the virus!. It is possible that you may have a slight reaction after re-exposure, such as a few spots and a slight fever!. However, you will not get a full-blown case of chickenpox more than once!."Www@Answer-Health@Com
