Question: Tonsil removal!?
What are some of the reasons a doctor would request to have your tonsils removed!? I have awful soar throats to the point they prescribed a prescription for arthritis an anti-inflammatory (I don't have arthritis) Can you request to have them removed!? Awful soar throats used to be a good reason to remove tonsils!.
Nowadays, doctors realize that tonsils are part of the immune system and should stay in the throat!. I wouldn't insist on removing them!.
Anti-inflammatory drugs can be used to manage pain and they are not limited to arthritis (contrary to popular belief)!.
Tonsils are swollen, indicating that they fight an infection!. Get a prescription of antibiotics to go with your anti-inflammatories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had mine removed from severe ear infections as a baby!. I am sure you can request it, but they may tell you that your tonsils are not the reason for your sore throats and the fact that you can't breath through your nose!. Having your tonsils removed doesn't hurt anything, though, so they may still agree to do the procedure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
