It's difficult to say, since the length of time a person lives depends on so many things, including their health prior to infection, type of treatment received, response to treatment, and response to the virus itself!. These days, with treatment, many people with HIV are able to live much longer, healthier than they could before!. Medications can't eliminate the virus, but they can help to increase the amount of time between diagnosis of HIV and diagnosis of AIDS!.
Once a person is diagnosed with AIDS, they are more likely to die more quickly, because at that point, the body is unable to fight off infections such as colds, flu, and pneumonia!. These secondary infections can cause death of AIDS patients, when they may not have much of an effect on a person with a healthy immune system!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends,
it may take 10yrs for sympoms of HIV to show up so its best to get tested as soon as possible!.
Without treatment treatment HIV will develop into AIDS!. Both diseases left untreated are deadly!.
If you or someone you know think they have HIV or any kind of STD
GET TESTED SOON
i thought i had an std but i was negative for everything and it felt much better to know and be sure!.

well hell with modern medicine people are almost making out to about normal like 70-75, and with new medicine on the way hell it will probably get to the point where hiv isn't an issue anymore as far as death or transmission, lol if you make it that long in life anyway chance are you are doing something right haha anyway, by that time we all pray that some one has found a way to cure it, b/c all sources point about 10 yrs left in this struggle with hiv we all hope:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

These are unknowns!. There are people that have been living for years now with HIV that are being treated!. How long you would live without treatmant depends on how long it takes to go from HIV+ to full blown AIDS and other factors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
