Answers:
yes tell them but try not to make the guest sound like this gross infectious person that they would not even want to clean his/her room!.!. that is not the case!.!. just tell them to let them know so they can take some extra precautions!.!. you don't know if this person who has aids or hiv contracted it through needle use so that could help housekeeping be on the lookout so they won't get stuck with an infected needle or something of that nature!.!. i know i would inform the housekeepers but only the one who is handling the room for that day!.!. if they decide to blast that person's business then that is them but it would make me feel better that i was able to let somebody know that they need to be on the safe side and that i am lookung out for their health!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!.I know that it is legal!. Because people who have HIV/AIDS are not required to have to tell anyone that they have the diease because alot of places will show discrimination or fear!. For example in schools, students do not have to notify teachers or students if they have a diease unless you can spread the diease through air, that is why if a student vomits in a hallway they take precautions and cover it up and keep students away!.

Your cleaning staff should take precautions when cleaning, but try not to push the situation because she can take that to offence and sue the hotel for discrimination and the company can lose money and you can lose your job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hiv/Aids is only contracted from shared bodily fluids!.

Normal day to day contact is not a problem!. please do treat this guest like a leaper!.
You do not need to, nor should you disclose anything to housekeeping or anybody else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

HIV has been found in saliva, tears, nervous system tissue and spinal fluid, blood, semen (including pre-seminal fluid), vaginal fluid, and breast milk!. However, only blood, semen, vaginal secretions, and breast milk generally transmit infection to others!.

Transmission of the virus occurs:

* Through sexual contact -- including oral, vaginal, and anal sex
* Through blood -- via blood transfusions (now extremely rare in the U!.S) or needle sharing
* From mother to child -- a pregnant woman can transmit the virus to her fetus through their shared blood circulation, or a nursing mother can transmit it to her baby in her milk

Other transmission methods are rare and include accidental needle injury, artificial insemination with donated semen, and organ transplants!.

HIV infection is not spread by casual contact such as hugging, by touching items previously touched by a person infected with the virus, during participation in sports, or by mosquitoes!.

It is not transmitted to a person who DONATES blood or organs!. ThoseWww@Answer-Health@Com
