Is it really bad to drink alcohol when you got fever?!

Drinking stresses your liver, and dehydrates you, as your body is already currently under stress with a fever, giving it alcohol could give the glandular fever free reign and make you very ill!.!.

so i am going to say yes it is really bad to drink alcohol when you have a fever, it would make you havea hangover worse too!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

fever as in a cold or flu!? i'm no medical professional but my guess would be the reason it's bad is that alcohol would dehydrate you!. i've drank plenty of times while i was sick w/a fever and as long as i kept myself hydrated (w/water, gatorade, etc) i was fine!. although i believe an old wives tale says to drink wine to "draw out" a fever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes! it is bad to drink alcohol when you got a fever!. the reason for this is;, you urinate more often when you drink alcohol,- and fever dehydrates you enough already!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
