Question: Pneumonia!?!!?!!?
Ok my dad has Pneumonia!. He was kinda feeling sick yesterday and to day we were going on a 1 hour drive to this city but he could not do it cuz he felt to bad sooo he went to the doctor!. He came back 2 hours later he said he has pneumonia! so he is now in the hosible geting medison!.Soo i am wondering can he die from it!?!? He has never been really sick before and never reallt took adumbitics!. " well he is tacking them now"!. He is all so a smoker by the way!. soo can he die even tho he his geting tretment!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The fact the he's getting treatment is very good!. The antibiotics will work their magic very quickly, hopefully!.
Can he die from pneumonia!? Well, I'm not going to lie to you!. Yes, he can!.!.!.but, the chances are slim now that he's getting help!. People die from pneumonia every year!. The people who are most at risk are the very young, the elderly, and people with chronic health problems like asthma, AIDS, etc!.
Next year, when flue season comes around again, encourage your dad to get a flu AND pneumonia shot!. This will greatly reduce his chances of going through this again!.
I'd try to relax, though!. Chances are your dad will be just fine, but it will take time to get over -- pneumonia is one of those things that doesn't go away overnight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The antibiotics could do the trick, and when he comes home he needs to not smoke any more than he absolutely has to, because smoking paralyzes the tiny hairs in the lungs causing the junk to stay at the bottom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
