I work as a nurse in an OB/GYN clinic!. So I do see alot of people with genital warts and herpes!. You can get it from your partner, even if you use a condom!. Taking a shower after or "being careful" will not prevent an infection!. Anyone who has used that method and says they have not gotten an infection, just has not had an outbreak yet!.!.!.!.!.or is damn lucky!. You can pass the infection even if you are not having signs and symptoms of an outbreak!. Some people can have a "subclinical" outbreak and be contagious and never realize it!. Just remember that 4 out of 5 people are infected with the Herpes Simplex virus!. You can also pass HSV2, which is cold sores!.!.!.!.to the genitals during oral sex!. Just like HSV1, genital herpes can be passed from the genitals to the mouth during oral!.

Oral herpes!? yea kissing him would put you at risk, but alot of people have oral herpes!. 80% of all people have it!. If he gets a cold sore dont kiss him!. If he dont then the chances of giving it to you drop to like 3%!. Dont be afraid of someone because they have herpes!. Its not a death sentance!. And you have to give him credit, he told you!. It is not that big of deal since a large number of people have it, but it is a virus and no virus is good for you!. How old are you!? I wouldn't kiss him, just because you probably won't stay together and you will have to go through the trouble of telling the next guy you like that you have it!.
