I hope to one day become a Physician/Radiologist (i do know the work involved to get there)!. Im wondering about the pay!. I've heard that after the first 4-5 yrs after your residency it's $200,000 to $350,000!. BUT ive also heard its between 46,000 and 70,000!. What is closer to a Radiologists salary!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
You are confusing salaries for a radiologist (doctor) and a radiologic technologist (tech)!. The doctor is going to make hundreds of thousands!. The tech won't make anywhere near that much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's going to depend a lot on where you live, what location you want to work for!. I would guess the lower numbers are for someone just starting out, since that's awfully low for a doctor!.

Another thing you might do is speak with counselor's at a medical school!. They should know these things, or speak to the HR department at your local hospitals!. They'll usually give you a starting wage or a range but probably won't give you caps!.
I once thought I wanted to be in anesthesia since they are some of the highest paid docs around, but the more I learned about the job the less I wanted it- paychecks aside!. Money is important, but it doesn't mean much if you don't do what you really enjoy!. So if you really want to be a physician- go for it, but don't let money be your only reason for doing it!.
Best of luck in reaching your dreams!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
