I don't really know what you mean by African America Skin, as the only diff between various colours of skin is the amount of melanin, otherwise skin is all the same , regardless of the colour!.
Good basic soaps containing ingredients like shea butter(to keep it soft), lavender (anti bacterial properties), olive oil (to moisturize), tea tree oil(to kill bacteria) etc!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.will go a long way in keeping skin healthy and clear!.
I have never been able to find one soap with all of these ingredients, so alternately use different ones!.
The one product I do find that cleans very well, moisturizes, and kills bacteria all in one is, believe it or not, coconut oil from the grocery stores!. I just rub it onto my face at night!. It removes makeup, moisturizes, does not clog pores, and kills bacteria that causes pimples!. And yet, it doesn't feel greasy at all!. A jar will lasts a couple of months costs about 2 bucks!.
I find that commercial products for skin cleansing contain alot of chemical ingredients!. With the exception of tea tree oil, I have this rule of thumb: If you can't eat it, then don't put it onto your skin!. The skin absorbs quite a bit which can get into your bloodstream!.

don't be conned into using PH balanced soap by anybody!. Ph balanced soap does not kill most germs especially on hands!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
