I suppose it depends on which STD!. Gonorrhea and Chlamydia give symptoms!. You may not notice any for weeks though!.
Men will usually notice Gono and Chlam symptoms more often than women since women often mistake their symptoms as part of their cycle!.
Bacterial STDs are curable with antibiotics!. Aids/HIV not curable!. Herpes not curable!.
