Question: I breathed in ammonia!. does it have side effects!?
today, about an hour ago, my science class was doing an experiment!. i had lemon juice and ammonia in cups next to eachother, and thinking it was the lemon juice, i like breathed it in kind of a lot too!. my eyes watered and my nose stung!. are there any side effects from doing that!? and am i going to be ok!?

Yes, one of which is DEATH, but your teacher is not so unwise to have so lethal an amount of ammonia present in the class room!. The worst that will happen is you get a headache!. If you have not had one yet, then nothing will happen to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try not to!. Breath in pure ammonia and you'll know it, believe me!. You'll be OK!.

Yeah its just like breathing in say petrol for a short amount of time it'll only hit the top of you head, if it gets to much take a tablet and itll be gone in no time!
