Question: What are the similarities and differences between the two types of diabetes!? type 1 and type 2!?
Answers:
Type 1 is a condition where no insulin is produced in the body and so insulin is required for the activity of absorbing the sugar from the blood and supplying to the cells!.

Type 2 is a diabetes which afflict the elders, the pregnant, the tension bound and also the persons with a family history!.

in type 2 the insulin is produced in the pancreas but not sufficient to absorb from the blood and supply to the cells!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Type1diabetes is an autoimmune disease which occurs in children and young teenagers!.Their insulin producing organ-pancreas is completely destroyed by the auto immune process!.So as treatment they require insulin replacement!.These people may have autoimmune markers positive (anti-GAD and anti-islet cell antibodies)!.They may have other autoimmune diseases associated as thyrotoxicosis!.They are usually thin people!.Type 2 diabetes occurs in middle age or elderly!.Here the body produces less insulin or the body becomes resistent to insulin!.Their pancreas may have some function initially!.They can be treated with tablets to reduce the sugar!.But these people also in their long run require insulin as treatment!.Lifestyle modifications can bring down their sugar levels!.Difference between these two is given well in ourwebclinic!.comWww@Answer-Health@Com

With Type 1 diabetes, an auto-immune disease, the pancreas stops making insulin!. Insulin is an absolute requirement for life - to process the glucose in our blood, so those with Type 1 must have either insulin injections or use an insulin pump to supply the missing ingredient!. Diet and exercise affect blood glucose levels somewhat, but can never replace the insulin!.
Type 2 diabetics do produce insulin, but it's either not enough or their cells are just so resistant they can't utilize the insulin effectively!. Type 2 is associated with obesity, lack of exercise, etc!. Some Type 2s can control the disease by lifestyle changes alone!. Some require medications - usually pills!. Some need insulin to supplement what their body produces, especially since Type 2 seems to be progressive with some people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
