Answers:
Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease triggered by gluten found in wheat, rye and barley and products made from them!. The gluten attacks the lining of the small intestine and disrupts the ability of the nutrients to be absorbed as well as allowing the gluten molecules to get through the lining which in people without celiac disease, the gluten doesn't penetrate the intestinal wall!. So either through a lack of a nutrient or a person's reaction to gluten, it causes headaches or migraines in some people!. Not all celiacs get headaches because the symptoms are so varied that it is hard to diagnose CD!. Many people take an average of 8 years to diagnose from the onset of symptoms because the symptoms look like so many things!.
Good luck maintaining a gluten free lifestyle!. I have been gluten free for almost 6 years and it gets pretty easy once you adjust and change your diet!. There are a lot of substitute products for breads, pastas and desserts so it is just a matter of finding those you like in taste and texture!. Remember, frest fruits and veggies are gluten free as well as nonprocessed meats!. Once you start getting into sauces and gravies is the place where gluten can be hidden if you don't make them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Symptom
Body reacts differently for different people with wheat gluten!.
It can manifest itself as a headace, Irritability, Gas, Abdominal pain with bloating, Bone and joint pain, Muscle cramps to state a few symptoms!. Women can have missed menstrual periods, Infertility and anemia!.

Cause
The disease is thought to be genetic but it may occur after a surgery, pregnancy, childbirth, viral infection or emotional stress!.

Solution:
You are doing the right thing by removing gluten from your diet!. Few people are lucky to have been able to identify the root cause of their headache!. I have a friend who has a headache for years and has had multiple blood test, brain scanS and alternative medicines with no root cause established!. He continue to live his life while suffering from pain since he does not want to be on medication which might lead to other side effects!.

Please ask your doctor to find out whether your symptoms have anything to do with Celiac disease (CD)

Yes headaches/migraines can be caused by gluten intolerance but no one know why!. Other symptoms are bloating, constipation and/or diarrhea, fatigue, weight gain, bone or joint pain, dental enamel defects, depression, infertility, anemia, alopecia areata (hair loss), migraines, multiple sclerosis (MS), psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, or any of the dozens of other symptoms now believed to be connected to gluten intolerance!.
It must have something to do with the malabsorption of nutrients from not being able to break down gluten!. This is actually pretty common and undiagnosed in many people!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
