Please if any of you have this problem!.!.!.suggestions will be taken seriously! I went and bought that ABREVA stuff last night as soon as I felt it coming!.!.and well!.!.!.it's still here!.!.!.I called my DR!. today and they said that Abreva is a waste of money!.!.to get BLISTEX!.!.and well since I've started using that this nasty thing has gotten worse! It's like 4 times the size and it hurts sooooooo bad! My lip is all swollen and looks like it has pus in it!. It's now above my lip too!. This kills! What should I do!? Any home rememdies that would help!? ANYTHING!.!.!.I am desperate!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a cold-sore or canker sore!. That is viral!. The only things that I know of are prescription meds!., an oral lidocaine solution for pain, denivir cream for the sore and an oral anti-viral can be taken like what they use for adult chicken pox, acyclovir or one of those!. You can try motrin over the counter for the pain, I actually heard that the Abreva works pretty well!. Maybe you could ask your doctor to call you in the denivir istead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
