Question: What illness is it if you have ulcers in the eyes bags area!?
My 5 years old kid have red ulcers in her eyes bag area!. They are not itchy though!. The doctor gave her anti-biotic for one week consumption and he mentioned something that this is caused by virus!. But he seems not able to explain more!.
I plan to visit another doctor in 3 days time after the my kid finish taking her one week dosage medication!.
Are there any parents or medical doctor have encounter similar thing before!? I wonder if someone can share information about it whether this is dangerous!.

Are you talking about under her eyes on the skin or in the conjunctiva (red part) of her eyes!?

Although it is very hard to say, I think it probably periorbital cellulitis, which is caused by a bacterial infection!. It could also be a blocked tear duct!. The doctor would not have given you antibiotics to treat a virus--they do not work on viruses!.
