Pain and tenderness in abdomen?!
Question: Pain and tenderness in abdomen!?
hs guys, i today started ahving soreness in my abdomen (on the right side) now it has spread all through my abdomen upepr and lower!. Its tender to the touch if you put medium pressure on it!. it is aching/throbbing!. Also, I ahve an upset stomache!. Its causing quite a bit of discomfort!. should i seek medical attention(er this time of night) or just say whatever no biggy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is really ironic because this just happened to me 2 weeks ago!. I had an upset stomach, an then that went away and the pain moved my lower right side!. It could be appendicitis!. And if you're a girl, it could be an ovarian cyst or just ovulation!. My doctor said to just go to ER if it gets worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If the pain localizes to your lower right side and intensifies and you become very nauseous or even vomit then you need to go to the ER immediately because you may have acute appendicitis which means you need an appendectomy!. If none of these signs appear but your pain becomes stronger then go to the hospital!. Nobody knows your pain but you so if you have a lot of pain then do what your body is telling you to do and go to the ER!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well - my pain and tenderness was my appendix
and I waited until the next day - saw my Doctor -
and was still sent to the ER
make sure you get your fluids down - and good luck if you try to wait it out -
the result might be the same - how soon do you want to feel better !?

used to be the old protocol for appendectomies was
you go in - surgery ASAP
- I got there - they took 10 days to kill the infection
then home for 5-6 weeks to heal -
then back for 3 quick daze in the hospital to take it out
I had a little wrinkle - mine had split in two
so the inscision was 5 inches instead of two - for the cleanout
but great physicians - nonetheless!

try to stick it out until morning when you can call your doctor!. but, to tell you the truth, that is how my appendicitis started!. if that is what it is, you will probably get a fever, and in a few hours will not be able to bare the pain!. i hope for your sake it is something else, but please pay attention to it!.

I would definitely say if you still have it in the morning I'd call my Dr!. You don't want to have any appendix problems, that's for sure!. That's one thing I'd have to rule out, & only a Dr!. can do that!. Hope you feel better, but don't keep ignorning it!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
