Can people who had lyme disease be able to have babies in a near future?!

Question: Can people who had lyme disease be able to have babies in a near future!?
Answers:
If you are pregnant now or plan to become pregnant soon, and have had Lyme disease, it's important that you be monitored by a Lyme specialist throughout the pregnancy!. Lyme can be passed from mother to child, and even if your symptoms are cleared up, that doesn't mean you might not have Lyme spirochetes still in your body someplace!.

I know women with Lyme who have taken antibiotics for the baby during their pregnancy, and they ended up with healthy babies!. So, it can be done!. But it must be approached carefully!.

The following websites have general info about Lyme!. I don't know if there is specific info about pregnancy and Lyme!. However, if you go to www!.lymenet!.org, click on "flash discussions" then click on "medical questions" you can post a question about it, and will probably receive answers from people who have been through it!. Also, you could search their archives for any responses with the word "pregnancy" in it!.

Best of luck to you!
