Pre diabetes is a term that is no longer used by people current on diabetes research and treatement!. It is like saying you are pre pregnant!. Either you are or you aren't!.

If your M!.D!. is diagnosing you as pre diabetic, switch to an M!.D!. current on research and treatement!.

Current Research shows, Damage from Diabetes is accumulative, and non reversable!. You can slow the progression, that is all!. A person with Moderate Diabetes will accumulate body damage at a moderate rate, A person with Severe Diabetes will accumulate damage at a Severe Rate!.

The sooner you are diagnosed with Diabetes and start treatment, the less damage you will accumulate to your body!.

So far, only one cause of Diabetes (Chemical Exposure) has been scientifically proven!.

DNA scientist and Geneticist have not been able to find a scientifically accepted heriditary link!.

Families with many siblings often only have one or none of the siblings developing Diabetes!. It does not follow the accepted laws of Genetics!.

Same with weight gain and bad diet!. People assume weight is the cause because weight has been linked to other health problems!. There is a link, but it is not known if weight gain is a symptom or cause or side effect of what is causing Diabetes!. The research based on sound scientific principals has not been done!.

So to answer your questions, have a glycated hemoglobin or HbA1c test to see if you do or do not have Diabetes!. If you do start treatement and go on a Diabetic Diet right away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are referring to type 2 diabetes, then yes you can prevent developing it through excercise and diet!.
If you are referring to type 1 diabetes, then it is impossible to reverse!. In type 1, your immune system is attacking beta cells in your pancreas, so there is no relation to overeating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Losing weight, exercising and healthy eating can forestall the progression!.
