You are either not talking about fasting glucose level or you are using a scale not used in the U!.S!. However, to the question you ask, I am diabetic, and you may be able to bring it down by walking before bedtime!. Not within 2 hours however as it may keep you awake!. Eat more protean and less carbohydrates for your last meal and let your body catch up!.

The probable reason for this is that your liver is converting glycogen into glucose while you sleep!. This is a common problem for most diabetics when sick!. The body also does this during pregnancy!. Your blood sugar would never rise if you did not have the diabetes gene!. This will be especially true if you are overweight to start with!. Be careful to keep your weight in check and not gain more than necessary!.

You should see an internist if this cannot be brought under control!. High blood sugars can cause brain damage in babies!. I don't know how high but, again I would talk to an internist!. My internist would put you on regular (fast acting) insulin on a sliding scale!. You check with a meter then adjust with insulin!. Since insulin is a hormone it is safe during pregnancy!. Oral Medications all as far as I know can cause birth defects!. You Need a solution soon but again I am not even sure how high your levels are!. In the US the scale would be somewhere between 90-100 and no higher than 120 mg/dl!. The scale you are quoting sounds like the Hga1c test they do in the doctors office here (a three month average of blood sugars)!. But I know there are different systems in use!.

The American Diabetes Association has a lot of information about diet you may find some help there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
