Sounds to me like she has an intolerance to milk and dairy products buddy !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.lactose intolerance can raise its nasty head at any stage of our lives!.!.!.!.!.!. i have had the same issue with my little girl (8 years old) except i didn't realise she was lactose intolerant until a few years ago!.!.!.!.!.!.;0)

Ditch the milk and dairy products i say as many many people have trouble digesting the lactose contained in them!.

Goat's milk would perhaps be an option for you!. Give her a calcium & vitamin D3 rich supplement perhaps in a liquid form (easiest to assimilate) to ensure she gets all her calcium on a daily basis and to support a healthy neural, immune and digestive system!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. you can get them especially formulated for children this young !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and pump up her intake of fresh fish such as salmon and tuna and leafy and green vegies & fresh fruits~ the vegies are rich in both calcium and protein and the fish are rich in EFA's, calcium and vitamin D (the vitamin D is essential for effective calcium absorption)!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.?

The calcium found in vegies and fruits has a greater impact on bone health than calcium from dairy products anyways!.!.!.!. a study published in The Americal Journal of clinical nutrition (2002) found that a high intake of vegies and fruits has a positive impact on bone health, but dairy did not!. Dairy products contain animal proteins, which speed the elimination of calcium from the body and make it more acidic!. This can cause calcium to leach from the bones and cause problems with magnesium (which is essential for healthy nerve and muscle functioning and for heart health ~ known as the antistress mineral ) absorption, leading to osteoporosis!. In addition, we absorb only 30 percent of the calcium found in milk, compared to 40 to 70 percent of the calcium found in vegies and fruits!.

Cow's milk contains proteins that are difficult for humans to digest; when these undigested proteins enter the lower digestive system, they putrefy and cause digestive problems!. Dairy products encourage the production of excess mucus in the body, burdening the respiratory, digestive and immune systems!. Not surprisingly, when you ditch the milk and dairy people more often than not experience markedly fewer colds and sinus & respiratory infections!.

Lactose intolerance can cause acid reflux, alternating bouts of constipation & diahorrea and will also lead to a compromised digestive system thus laying the groundwork for a body which is extremely susceptible to developing nose, throat, sinus, ear, bronchial, bladder and other infections as well!.!.!.!.!.!.!. Other symptoms she may be suffering from are mucous in the stools, bloating & cramping (which she has), digestive troubles such as constipation, belching and burping, gassiness and wet f*arting (sorry, no other way to say it), ribbony and stringy shaped bowel movements or rabbit pellet shaped movements are all symptoms of lactose intolerance!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. is she also having troubles with insomnia, achy bones, irritability and moodiness and headaches!?!?!? if so, this is because her digestive system has been compromised by the lactose intolerance and these are all signs of calcium deficiency!.

I know that it's distressing when your little one is so young but really and truly, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying this out !.

Her symptoms will disappear extremely rapidly (within 24 hours) once you efficiently monitor her diet and ensure that she doesn't ingest anything containing lactose !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. perhaps she can eat the icecream and cheese because cheese is very low in lactose and she can probably still tolerate it and the icecream is so highly refined that little lactose remains in it !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. full cream products such as milk and yoghurt, chocolate and even some candies will contain too much lactose for her to tolerate though!.

An easy way to tell if you are allergic or intolerant to a particular food is to take your pulse before eating the food ~ timed over a period of 30 seconds then double the result (your pulse will probably be between 52 and 70 beats per minute) ~ eat the food you suspect you are intolerant or allergic to and take your pulse again 15 minutes later ~ if it is 20 beats or more higher you probably have an allergy to the food!.

peace 2 u & yours buddy

cheers

No Offense but you seem like a bit of a worry wart!.
You know being Lactose Intolerant is not the end of the world haha! But no Soy products are probably the best for your lil one! I would keep her on that until she develops a little more! She may be just a late bloomer in the development!

so what you do is put her on soy milk!.!.and see if the problems stop if they do then you know she is lactose intolerant
and then you tell the dr after you do this for a month or two!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like it to me!. you can try goat milk or try some yogurt, some of them have supposedly have cultures that help with gas and bloating!. I wouldn't give any more whole milk, it is hard with all the ice cream and other products, but if you cut them out and the problem is decreased, you will know what causes it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may be right on lactose intolerance !. so take her off milk !. you did well on breast feeding her till you could !. this is enough to make her strong as she grows up!. that was good motherhood good work!. btw breast feeding gets your baby to be emotionally close to you!.

Now about milk!. i dont understand why mothers insist on milk as a diet !. if its calcium that you want her to get then try calcium sandoz that comes in flavours !. other than calcium i dont know how milk helps!.

About your doctor saying that its fine !.!.!.!.!. we tend to disbelive doctors if they say alls fine !. but if they do a series of tests and we pay a lot of bills we are satisfied !. so trust the doctor !. try to get advice from 2-3 doctore and if all of them says its fine then its really fine !.

Put ur child on alternate diet !. if u are nonveg - soups !. if you are veg - green leaf veg !. etc
