Question: Anyone here have Dermatographia as well!?
I have it and have to take a zyrtek every fricken day of my life!. It I don't, by 24 hours I start getting the marks when I scratch or touch hard and that horrible itching to everything!. I haven't met anyone else with it who can relate to this crappy thing though!. I will say tho, its fun to write things on yourself and watch it swell up so you can read it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have it!. It just started after my daughter was born (10 weeks ago)!.
It started as a "pain" issue: Every time I'd bang a body part on something, instead of pain, I would feel intense itching!. Anywhere on my body!. I had been taking high doses of percocet (has tylenol in it), and high doses of prescription motrin!. I had also had a strange experience with my epidural!. it immediately gave me an explosive headache, and they gave me a big dose of fentanyl to remove the pain (but it didn't work)!.
Anyway, over the course of 2 weeks, the itchiness turned into hives that came up wherever I touched my skin or scratched it!.!.!.!.!.!.dermographia!.
I haven't seen a doctor about it yet!. I assume it will go away eventually, but know that I cannot live with this crap the rest of my life!. It drives me crazy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG!!!!! I've never talked to another person with it!!! I take Zyrtec too!!! I have to agree it's fun to write stuff :) I still get sort of red when I scratch but it doesn't swell up!!! Very cool to have talked to someone with this :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
