Answers:
Sounds like a possiblility of walking pneumonia!.!.!.with the green mucus which tells you that there is infection!. Anything that is coughed up which is green and or yellow is infectious material and should be diagnosed!.

You will need a different antibitotic to fight this infection other than one that is given for bronchitis!. I have had bronchitis numerous times but always had a temperature and felt very lousy and of course with the persistent coughing sometimes so hard that you could hardly catch your breath!. Your problem does not sound like bronchitis to me but could be worse but still treatable!.

Pennicillin is usually used for any type of Pneumonia and also Cipro which is a very, very expensive medication if you have no insurance but if you do there's no worry there!.

There is one more that I can't remember the name of at the moment but there are only 5 of them to the prescription and there again these are also very expensive but they will knock out most types of Pneumonias which there are quite a few different ones believe it or not!.

Anyway, don't worry until you get the diagnosis from your doctor tomorrow!. He will most likely let you know for sure what it is and which medication to treat it effectively!.

I only thought it may be walking Pneumonia because of the length of time that you've had the cough and I have had this on one occasion and it sounded familiar!. BEST OF LUCK & HEALTH!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
