it doesn't to me and maybe that liver is out of date or not cooked right !. my mother would just slab it into the fry pan and cook it as is, but i like it cut up in small pieces and fried with cream of mushroom soup,onions mushrooms and ,milk or cream in it!. It' kinda like changing glop oatmeal into a creamy

To me, death smells like rotting feces and old unwashed people!.
Liver and onions just smell slightly worse than onions in grease!.
I think that it is foul but REAL death is much worse!.
