Answers:
First, intestinal candida is not as often as some people think!. Candida is a part of normal gut flora, and it is practically always found in stool tests!. Candida causes symptoms only when it is overgrown, but it is impossible to distinguish normal and overgrown amount of candida with a stool test!. Only reliable diagnosis of intestinal candida is with colonoscopy!.

Intestinal candida, even if it is there, will not overgrow just like that, since normal bacteria, and immune system won't allow it!. When bacteria die (after prolonged antibiotic treatment) or when immune system is affected (cancer, AIDS, chemotherapy!.!.!.), candida may overgrow, and yes, it may enter the bloodstream and affect any other organ in the body!. It is very unlikely that this would happen in otherwise healthy person though!.

Candida consumes sugars as nutrients, and as an end product yields acetaldehyde - the same metabolite as in alcohol metabolism, and which is responsible for hangover symptoms!. Acetaldehyde from candida easily enters the blood and causes the same hangover symptoms (sleepiness, tiredness, nausea, headache, brain fog!.!.!.)

Excess acetaldehyde is yielded from candida in two cases:
- high sugar intake, which feeds candida and accelerate its growth
- start of low-sugar diet, or drug treatment of candida, what causes massive candida dying and release of Acetaldehyde!. This is a well known candida "die-off" phenomenon!.

So, it is acetaldehyde and not candida which usually enters the blood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
