Weird feeling in abdomen? the mid abdomen?!

Question: Weird feeling in abdomen!? the mid abdomen!?
I have this constricting feeling in my abdomen right now, it clenches the releases!. I am pretty sure its not food poisoning because ive had food poisioning before!. ive had other symptoms latley including a breathing attack that has taken me to the er last week thursday and since then ive had excessive swelling all over my body (especially in hand and feet)!. i dont know if any of that has anything to do with this, but my stomach feels really strange, like there is a rope around the area between my belly button and ribs and two people are pulling at the ends then stop and start over and over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had that a couple times!. I went to the hospital both times and they told me that I had gastritis and that I was dehydrated!. The hooked me up to the IV for water and gave me morphine cause the pain kept getting worse and worse!.
I don't know if it was actually dehydration, and I was pissed when they told me that cause I drank tons of fluids, I always drink water!. You should definitley go to the hospital and get it checked out and if they tell you, you have gastritis and are dehydrated then get more info about it and tell them exactly what is going on!.
Don't go by youself, have someone who can be there and help listen to the doctor too!. Because, when I went they gave me morphine and I couldn't fend for myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not to degrade your problem, because it sounds like something you should see a doctor for, but I had exactly the same symptoms a few months after I gave birth to my third child!. It turned out to be a combination of abdominal muscles returning to their normal place and gas pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go back to the ER, right now!.

Usually, doctors give you a "threshhold" for when to come back if your symptoms worsen!.

Since you've already had a breathing attack (asthma!? anxiety attack!?) and excessive swelling, and now you have the onset of another symptom, it's definitely past time for you to go back!.

BTW - you should have contacted your GP (general practitioner - your regular doctor) ASAP for the excessive swelling, which can be a sign of a couple of different serious conditions!.

Good luck to you!. I hope it turns out to be nothing, but it's always better to be safe than sorry!.

BTW, you won't get an accurate diagnosis here, you must see a doctor!. If in doubt, DO NOT turn to Yahoo answers!.

Call your doctor's office, which will connect you with an after-hours answering service, which will then contact the doctor on-call at your doctor's group!. If you do not have a regular doctor, then contact the ER that you went to earlier!. Either the doctor or hospital can better advise you based on your history of what you should do next!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
