Question: Big lump by armpit, shud i be worried!?
it's like the size of the with of a pen, its skin coloured and is hard and a little sore!. it is kinda under my nipple but by my armpit but 2 inches lower!. I've heard even men can get breast cancer im a little worried as its got bigger and in the nipple area!. im a little embarssed if it is male breast cancer (thats why the yahoo question) any advice or opinion greatly apprecited!. thanks in advanceWww@Answer-Health@Com

If it's in your armpit, it could be one of two things, an ingrown hair that's become infected, they get pretty big but aren't serious and you can probably drain it yourself since it's pretty much just filled with pus!. It can be taken care of fairly easily!. It also could be a swollen lymph node, I've had one under my arm before, it just feels like a lump under your skin it isn't sore or anything and they usually appear before/after you're sick (cold/flu/etc)!.
If you don't think it's either of those then you might want to see a doctor if you *are* worried!. It's usually a good idea to assume the best but I can't say for sure because I'm not a doctor!. :}Www@Answer-Health@Com
