okay!.!. i know someone with cystic fibrosis!. she says that she loves some one else with this same disease!. but she cant go near him because if she breaths his air!.!.she may die!. now before i feel bad for her!.!.!.i want to make sure this is accurate!. and make sure shes not wanting someone to feel bad for her!.!.!.any one know the anser!?!?

OK A healthy person can breathe the same air as a CFer however 2 CF people in the same room need to be careful because of cross infection!. If one CF person is sick they will get the other CF person sick!. Sadly enough it only works with us CFers!. or Cancer patients!. If the CF person she really likes has MRSA or Berkholderia Cepacia then If she were to get it yes she could die from it!. So what she told you is accurate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Unfortunately, people with CF are asked to stay away from others with CF, mainly due to a horrible bacteria called Burkholderia cepacia!. Becoming colonized with cepacia could significantly decrease her life span (to a year or so)!.
