I think I'm diabetic...are these enough symptoms to go to the doctor???!

Question: I think I'm diabetic!.!.!.are these enough symptoms to go to the doctor!?!?!?
My parents just shrug it off because I don't think there is anyone diabetic in my family/relatives!.

I'm Asian!. I'm 5'3" and weigh 110 lbs!. I know I'm almost on the thin side of the scale but I eat very unhealthy and hardly ever excersize!. I've been warned that I better watch what I eat because it's all so fatty and greasy!.

Recently, I've been having to urinate VERY often!. I wake up because I have to use the bathroom and this has never happened!. Almost every morning, I wake up way too early because I have to pee!. I'm always hungry no matter how much I eat!. I can eat, eat and eat!. It's like I have a bottomless stomach but I don't really gain the weight!. I'm stagnated at 110-108 lbs!. Should I go see the doctor!?!?!? I thought I may have a UTI but I don't so!.!.!.what should I do!!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOU BETTER GO RIGHT AWAY, here's why:

I just got diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes!. I was ignoring it!. Two years ago, I was "borderline" and was given Avandia to try to help it!. I stopped drinking sodas and switched to Splenda!. Then I lost my job and my insurance, so I never followed up with it!.

For two years I was "kinda" watching my sugar, "roughly" not eating so much sugar, then early this week my kidneys started hurting!. I thought I had a kidney infection because I don't drink water a lot, mostly tea, coffee, diet soda, juice, etc!.

Anyways, I pee'd in a cup and the results were lots of sugar in my urine!. I had a number of "250"!. The norm is 99 or below I think!. (still learning this)

Some things to note, I'm 35, not that old, yet, it seems from what I've read, 45 year olds are around the time most folks get this!. If you are 19, you better think about this:

1!. Diabetes is a silent killer!. My dr!. said he'd rather get other diseases than this, its the worse!.

2!. Damage to your eyes = eventual blindness!. If your eyes are blurring, GO!. Mine were 2 years ago!. I work w/ computers all day and ignored it, thinking it was just eyestrain!. Nope!.

3!.Damage to your nerves, starting w/ fingertips and toes!. I ignored this, thinking it was being on my feet and carpal tunnel from computer!. Eventual nerve damage and if your feet go numb, you may get a cut and it gets infected and you don't even know it, eventually they cut your foot off!.

4!. Damage to your kidneys!. Overflow of sugar goes into your bloodstream and urine!. Your kindneys eventually fail and you need to get a dialysis!.

5!. Damage to your heart!. Nerves to heart get messed up as well!.

6!. Stroke risk increased!. Damaged blood vessels and impedes blood cell function, improper clotting, etc!.

7!. Digestive system damage!. Nerve damage messes up your digestive process and things go out of whack!. Bowels irregular, etc!.

This disease is really really BAD!. Its the silent killer and doesn't get the press that "cancer" and "heart disease" gets!.

Finally, you will eventually need to take pills every day and/or shots of insulin!. Your body chemistry goes out of whack and do you really want to prick yourself with a lancet morning and evening every day just to make sure your blood is ok!?

Think about this and you can see, you better go to a doctor NOW!.

I've already brought my counts down in 3 days!. I pee'd in a cup today and they said I have "negative" glucose in my urine, so the medicine is working, but for me, I have to take this every day till I lose weight and get it in control!.

You are 19, don't ruin your life!. Eating badly is the worse thing we can do to our bodies!.

You have the symptoms of diabetes, better change lifestyle now or you will regret it like me!. I had a 2 year warning and ignored it!.

Consider yourself warned!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I am no doctor, I am only 19 but I have hypoglycemia, which is low blood sugar!. It sounds like you might have been experiencing it too!. I have those symptoms daily!. However, you can have hypoglycemia and not be diabetic!. As in my case, but I think you should definitely go and get checked out by your family doctor and tell him your symptoms and thoughts!. It's better to be safe than sorry!
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nick is right, the longer you wait, the more it will damage your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you always thirsty & have you had any recent fevers!? !. !. !. I would go to the Doctors to find out whats going on!. I could be diabitis but most likely its a UTI if you are not displaying any other symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might be hypoglycemic, which means low blood sugar!. Diabetics have both high and low blood sager!.!.!.so its not full blown diabetes, but it can turn into it if it isn't controlled!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

DM or Diabetes Mellitus is very common lifetime disease all over the world!. In order to be sure if you are a diabetic, you must go to the doctor and have a check up on your sugar level!. By the way, are your parents diabetic!? If so, you are also a diabetic!. If not, you can also get DM if your lifestyle is not good just like eating fatty food, no exercise, and sedentary lifestyle!.

Better to go to the doctor before your signs and symptoms get worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its not the gurantee that one cant become diabetic because no one in the family is diabetic

Diabetes often goes undiagnosed because many of its symptoms seem so harmless!. Recent studies indicate that the early detection of diabetes symptoms and treatment can decrease the chance of developing the complications of diabetes!.

Some diabetes symptoms include:
Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision
If you have one or more of these diabetes symptoms, see your doctor right away!.Its better to prevent than to repent
