How come my eyelids get swollen after i drink Soda...?!

About one hour after I drink a soda my eyelids get swollen and the skin around my eye too!.It's only started happening in the last month, at first i did'nt know what was causing it because i'v drank soda before at parties and nothing happened!.
Why all of a sudden is this happening!? I want to drink it but i hate that it makes my eyes swollen!.I'm positive it the soda thats causing it because when i'v stopped drinking it my eyes go back to normal!.
