i dont have strep but i got an antibiotic from my doctor while i was waiting for the strep results to come in and it worked!.!.!.so my question is if i had a bacterial infection what could it have been besides strep!? a type of oral std or what!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chlamydia or gonorrhea can cause bacterial infections in the throat!. But it may have just been a normal viral infection that cleared up on its own!.!.!. and it just happened that you were taking antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
