Question: What is hardening of the arteries!?
I am overweight diabetic @ 68 years of age!. I am diagnosed with clogged leg arteries, and I am scheduled to go through a leg artery clearing proceedure; thus I was wondering if this is related to hardening of t6he arteries!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

atherosclerosis is hardening of the arteries or plaque buildup on the arterial walls (similar to a clogged drain the blood flows slowly)!. The clogged leg artery (a clot is a thrombosis could be this too, a moving clot is an embolism, to the heart is a heart attack, to the head is a stroke) same thing different location!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
