Question: Multiple Sclerosis, how do you handle the heat and humidity!?
I seem to have alot of trouble staying awake when it is humid, is there something to help!? Does the humidity make the MS!. symptoms worse!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, heat can make MS symptoms worse!. It sounds like you are suffering from MS fatigue since you are having trouble staying awake!. Have you had MS fatigue before!? If not, the best way I can describe it is "overwhelming fatigue"!. When it hits me I cannot stay awake and I get double vision!. If the fatigue is a new symptom you should report it to your neurologist!. There are medications to help with fatigue!.

There are ways to help with the heat!. Don't go out in the heat of the day!. Try draping a wet towel around your neck and sit in front of a fan!. There are also cooling vests for sale from different companies!. In addition, The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (link below) has a variety of cooling items for sale!. You may also qualify for free cooling items through MSAA!.
