Well i think it would be really cool to have six fingers, but it would be kind of strange!. If its on your right hand does it make it hard for you to write!? if so maybe!. But if there isn't a reason to have it removed , dont bother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, but not for the sake of aesthetics!. Six fingers on one hand is due to a genetic condition called polydactyly!. The additional fingers due to polydactyly are often very small and do not function!.!.!. they are more likely to get in the way, and serve no use!. If it was a functional finger, well, then maybe not, it's posing no harm!. But that's not how polydactyly works!.

Yes, primarily because I'd imagine I couldn't wear gloves as required at work, or whilst riding a motorcycle, or whilst using machinery, or during the winter!.
I'd also imagine the extra finger would get in the way, and be a nuisance at best!.
Finally, the questions and looks from patients (particularly children) would get annoying to say the least!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my step daughter has a gentic disorder that had her have six fingers and toes that fused together like a duck!. she had the fingers removed as a baby!. they have no nerve ending and wouldn't be of any use!. the doctor just put a string around it til it fell off!. you're not a freak if you grow up to have confidence in yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
