Smooth flaky skin on my toes...?!
Question: Smooth flaky skin on my toes!.!.!.!?
Ok I broke my third toe on my right foot about a month ago and since it was in such an awkward place, my doctor simply taped that toe to the two next to it to help it stay straight as it healed!. Last night I took the tape off with every intention of putting new tape on but then as I was laying down with the ice pack on my toe to keep swelling down, I fell asleep and never put tape back on!. Now this morning/afternoon, the skin around the toes that were taped and the skin in between them is smooth but it is flaky much like when you get a sunburn and your skin peels off only it's thicker pieces!. What's going on!? Is it just irritation from sweat building up and not being cleaned off!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not a doctor, but I believe it's the skin sort of drying out after the tape was removed!. My toe broke a few years back, and the same thing happened to me!. Once you put the tape back on, it will soften again!. Sort of smells too, right!? You should be fine though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
